Fractures of both bones of forearm are classified based on the location of fractures, pattern of the fracture, segmental nature and either open or closed fractures. Treatment options include operative, non-operative.
Indications for Operative treatment include all displaced fractures, galeazzi fractures, monteggia fractures, fractures with greater than 10degrees angulation, multiple fractures, compartment syndrome, peri-prosthetic fractures and pathological fractures.
